SWACHHATA HI SEVA CAMPAIGN IN METRO RAILWAY

Metro Railway, Kolkata is conducting the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign across its establishments. As part of this campaign, intensive cleaning and sanitization drives are being carried out at Metro stations, trains and other railway establishments.

As a part of the campaign, the ‘Swachhata Pledge’ was taken at different Metro stations, carsheds today, i.e. 17.09.2026. Senior officers and staff of Metro Railway also took the Swachhata Pledge at Metro Rail Bhawan today.

Through this pledge, officers and staff reaffirmed their commitment for maintaining cleanliness and contributing towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

To create greater awareness among commuters, special messages are also being displayed at Metro stations, appealing to passengers to maintain cleanliness and avoid littering. Metro Railway has requested all commuters to actively cooperate in the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign and contribute towards keeping Metro premises clean and hygienic.
