MODIFIED METRO SERVICES o­n BLUE LINE AND GREEN LINE o­n 02.08.2026 (SUNDAY) FOR COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION, 2026

 

Kolkata, 01.08 2026:

 

For the convenience of the candidates appearing in the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2026, Metro Railway will commence services from 07:00 hrs o­n 02.08.2026 (Sunday), o­n Blue Line and Green Line.

 

 

Metro services o­n both the Blue Line and Green Line will be available at 30-minute intervals from 07:00 hrs to 09:00 hrs. Thereafter, from 09:00 hrs o­nwards, normal Sunday services will operate o­n both the Blue Line and Green Line.

 

 

*BLUE LINE*

 

 

First Services:

 

At 07:00 hrs. From Dakshineshwar to Shahid Khudiram ( Instead of 09:00 hrs.) 

 

At 07:00 hrs. From Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Dakshineshwar ( Instead of 09:00 hrs.) 

 

At 07:00 hrs. From Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineshwar ( Instead of 09:00 hrs.) 

 

At 07:05 hrs. From Dum Dum to Shahid Khudiram ( Instead of 09:05 hrs.) 

 

 

*GREEN LINE*

 

 

First Services:

 

 

At 07:00 hrs. From Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V ( Instead of 09:00 hrs.)

 

At 07:02 hrs. From Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan ( Instead of 09:02 hrs.)

 

 

The timings of the last Metro services o­n both the Blue Line and Green Line will remain unchanged.

 

 

*YELLOW LINE*

 

 

Normal Sunday services will be available. However, the first direct service from Jai Hind Bimanbandar to Dakshineshwar will be available at 12:42 hrs. instead of 10:36 hrs.

 

 

*ORANGE LINE & PURPLE LINE*

 

 

No Metro services will be available o­n the Orange Line and Purple Line o­n 02.08.2026 as it is a Sunday.
