ADDITIONAL METRO SERVICES o­n BLUE LINE AND GREEN LINE o­n 14.06.2026 (SUNDAY) FOR WEST BENGAL CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2024

Kolkata, Date: 12.06.2026

For the convenience of the candidates appearing in the West Bengal Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024, Metro Railway will commence services from 08.00 hrs. o­n coming Sunday, i.e. 14.06.2026, inBlue Line and Green Line.

To facilitate early morning travel of the aspirants, guardians and other commuters, additional services will be operated o­n these Corridors. The timings of the last Metro services from terminal stations will remain unchanged.

BLUE LINE

A total of 156 services (78 UP and 78 DN) will be operated in Blue Line o­n 14.06.2026 instead of the existing 152 services o­n Sundays.

Metro services will run at an interval of 30 minutes in both UP and DN directions between 08.00 hrs. and 09.00 hrs. Thereafter, normal Sunday timetable will be followed.

First Services:

•At 08.00 hrs. from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

•At 08.00 hrs. from Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineswar (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

GREEN LINE

A total of 112 services (56 UP and 56 DN) will be operated in Green Line o­n 14.06.2026 instead of the existing 108 services o­n Sundays.

Metro services will run at an interval of 30 minutes in both directions between 08.00 hrs. and 09.00 hrs. Thereafter, normal Sunday timetable will be followed.

First Services:

•At 08.00 hrs. from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

•At 08.02 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan (instead of 09.02 hrs.)

There will be no change in the timings of the last Metro services in both Blue Line and Green Line.

Normal Sunday services will be available in Yellow Line.

No services will be available in Purple Line and Orange Line o­n that day.
