TRAFFIC BLOCK BETWEEN SAHID KHUDIRAM AND MAHANAYAK UTTAM KUMAR STATIONS o­n 17.05.2026

There will be a working Traffic Block between Sahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar Metro stations of Blue Line o­n 17.05.2026 (Sunday) to facilitate the rake reversal facility at Sahid Khudiram Metro station.This is required for rehabilitation and renovation work at Kavi Subhash Metro station. As a consequence, no Metro services will be available in between Sahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations o­n that day.

Normal Metro services will, however, be available between Dakshineswar Metro station and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar Metro station o­n that day, i.e. 17.05.2026 (Sunday).

Normal Metro services will resume o­n 18.05.2026 (Monday) o­n the entire stretch of Blue Line, i.e. from Dakshineswar to Sahid Khudiram Metro stations.

The inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted.
