ADDITIONAL METRO SERVICES o­n BLUE LINE AND GREEN LINE o­n 24.05.2026 (SUNDAY) FOR UPSC CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2026

For the convenience of candidates appearing in the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026. Metro Railway will commence services from 07.00 hrs. o­n coming Sunday, i.e. 24.05.2026, o­n both the Blue Line and Green Line Corridors.

To facilitate early morning travel of examinees, guardians and other commuters, additional services will be operated o­n these Corridors. The timings of the last Metro services from terminal stations will remain unchanged.

BLUE LINE

A total of 160 services (80 UP and 80 DN) will be operated o­n the Blue Line o­n 24.05.2026 instead of the existing 152 services o­n Sundays.

Metro services will run at an interval of 30 minutes in both UP and DN directions between 07.00 hrs. and 09.00 hrs. Thereafter, normal Sunday timetable will be followed.

First Services:

•        At 07.00 hrs. from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

•        At 07.00 hrs. from Noapara to Shahid Khudiram (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

•        At 07.00 hrs. from Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Dakshineswar (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

•        At 07.00 hrs. from Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineswar (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

GREEN LINE

A total of 116 services (58 UP and 58 DN) will be operated o­n the Green Line o­n 24.05.2026 instead of the existing 108 services o­n Sundays.

Metro services will run at an interval of 30 minutes in both directions between 07.00 hrs. and 09.00 hrs. Thereafter, normal Sunday timetable will be followed.

First Services:

•        At 07.00 hrs. from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V (instead of 09.00 hrs.)

•        At 07.02 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan (instead of 09.02 hrs.)

There will be no change in the timings of the last Metro services o­n both the Blue Line and Green Line Corridors.

Normal Sunday services will be available o­n the Yellow Line.

No services will be available o­n the Purple Line and Orange Line o­n that day.
