Good News for Metro commuters!! o­n 25.12.2025 (Thursday), Metro Railway has decided to operate special services in Blue Line and Green Line.

BLUE LINE

For the convenience of the commuters o­n 25.12.2024, Metro is going to operate services late night in Blue Line. The last service from Shahid Khudiram will leave at 22.30 hrs. and the last service from Dakshineswar will leave at 22.23 hrs. o­n that day.

 

Metro services will be operated at 7-minute interval from 14:40 hrs. to 20:30 hrs. o­n that day in this Corridor.

Metro services will start from 06:50 hrs in Blue Line o­n that day, which is a holiday and 224 services (112 UP and 112 DN) will be operated over the entire stretch of this Corridor instead of 272 services.

First Service:-

At 06:50 hrs. from Noapara to Shahid Khudiram (No Change)

At 06:50 hrs. from Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineswar (Instead of 06.54 hrs)

At 06:55 hrs. from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram (No Change)

At 06:55 hrs. from Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Dakshineswar (No Change)

 

Last Service:-

At 22:23 hrs from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram (instead of 21.28 hrs.)

At 22:20 hrs from Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineswar (instead of 21.33 hrs.)

At 22:30 hrs from Shahid Khudiram to Dum Dum (instead of 21.43 hrs.)

Two direct Metro services from Jai Hind Bimanbandar to Shahid Khudiram via Noapara will be available o­n that day as usual.

GREEN LINE

Metro will operate 201 services (101 UP & 100 DN) from 06:39 hrs. to 22.20 hrs instead of 228 daily services. Metro services will be operated at 6-minute interval from 16:25 hrs. to 20:30 hrs. o­n that day in this Corridor.

At 06:39 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan(No Change)

At 06.45 hrs. from Howrah Maidan V to Salt Lake Sector V (No Change)

Last Service:

At 21.55 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan (No Change)

At 21.55 hrs. from Howrah Maidanto Salt Lake Sector V (No Change)

 

At 22:05 hrs. from Howrah Maidan to Central Park (No Change)

 

At 22:20 hrs. from Howrah Maidan to Central Park (One additional service o­n that day)

 

Normal services will be available in Yellow Line, Purple Line and Orange Line o­n that day.
