DIRECT METRO SERVICE FROM JAI HIND BIMANBANDAR TO SHAHID KHUDIRAM STATION FROM 15.12.2025 (MONDAY)

More good news for Metro commuters!

For the benefit of the air travellers arriving at Dum Dum airport in the morning or late evening as well as other commuters, Metro Railway is introducing direct services from 15.12.2025 (Monday) o­n an experimental basis from Jai Hind Bimanbandar station to Shahid Khudiram station via Noapara.

Two direct Metro services ( o­ne in the morning peak hours and another in the late evening) will operate o­n this route from Monday to Friday from Jai Hind Bimanbandar to Shahid Khudiram stations. Commuters availing these two services from Jai Hind Bimanbandar station and willing to go to places like Esplanade, Kalighat, Mahanayak Uttam Kumar or Shahid Khudiram won't have to change trains at Noapara station.

First of these two direct services from Jai Hind Bimanbandar to Shahid Khudiram will start at 09:36 hrs. Second direct service from Jai Hind Bimanbandar will leave at 21:00 hrs.

These experimental services will ensure a seamless and convenient journey from the Airport to Shahid Khudiram or other places in and around Kolkata.
