ACTIVITIES OF VIGILANCE DEPARTMENT
CVIs investigate the complaint received locally or from Railway Board/CVC related to their respective Department and also conduct Preventive Checks regularly.
They took Vigilance Awareness class regularly in the Technical Training Centre/Noapara.
Vigilance Office keep close liaison with CVC, CTE and Railway Board Offices as well as with the Discipline Authorities, Prepare MCDO, CVC Monthly/Qtrly/Annual report besides all other official works.
Issuing of Vigilance Clearance for Officers, Staff and Retired Officials for different purpose is regular phenomena of the office.
Vigilance Organisation conducts Vigilance Awareness among the Officer, Staff and other Stake holder throughout the year by conducting Seminar, Workshop and other means.
Vigilance Organization always endeavour for taking Integrity Pledge.
Every year Metro Railway/Kolkata’s Vigilance Organization observes Vigilance Awareness Week at par with other Zonal Railways and Govt. Organisation and PSUs as per guidelines of CVC and release Vigilance Bulletin.
