EARNINGS PROFILE
Contrary to the trend in all Indian Zonal Railways, where Earning from Freight Traffic is the main source of revenues, in respect of Metro Railway, Kolkata, Passenger Earnings is the main source of revenue, besides sundry and other earnings are also obtained through commercial exploitation of property, advertising etc.. There are no freight services.
