PROMPTNESS OF ALERT RPF HELPS LADY RECOVER HER LOST PURSE
On 24.03.2021 at about 13.40 hrs, an on-duty RPF staff while conducting a routine check in a train at Kavi Subhash Station found an unclaimed ladies purse. Finding no claimant of this bag, the RPF staff handed it over to the Station Master’s office of Kavi Subhash Station. After opening the bag, cash, one ATM card, one Metro Smart Card were found in it. Thereafter, the on-duty Station Master made repeated announcements through the Public Address System in the Station requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from his office after showing valid proof.
After a while, a lady came to the Station Master’s office and claimed ownership of the bag. After proper verification the same was handed over to her. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the RPF staff and other Metro officials for their promptness and responsible action.
