MASSIVE PASSENGER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR “NO MASK, NO METRO”
PASSENGERS REQUESTED TO COOPERATE
Metro Railway Authorities have been conducting massive awareness campaigns to educate its commuters about the DOs and DONT's in the COVID environment on a regular basis.
On 25.03.2021 RPF staff, Traffic Inspectors, Station Staff jointly conducted ‘No Mask, No Metro’ campaign at all North South and East-West Metro stations as well as in running trains in the wake of the recent surge of Covid-19 cases in the country.
Despite regular announcements being made through the Public Address System, Mouth Hailers and counselling by RPF and station staff it is observed that some commuters are still not wearing masks during Metro travel.
During this drive, all Metro commuters were requested to strictly follow all Covid protocols as well as use masks properly. Commuters were also counseled and told that all efforts of Metro Authorities will be in vain if they do not cooperate and maintain all Covid norms. It is their responsibility also to wear masks in Metro premises and also in trains.
