LOST BAGS RECOVERED FROM METRO
AND HANDED OVER TO OWNERS
On 07.01.2021, two passengers informed the Station Master of Noapara Metro station that they had left their bags in a DN Metro. Soon after, Station Master of Noapara Metro station relayed this message to all concerned.
Immediately on-duty RPF staff of all Metro stations were alerted. one bag was recovered from that Metro at Belgachia and another bag was recovered at Shobhabazar-Sutanuti station from inside that Metro. It was also conveyed to the passengers concerned to meet the Station Masters of the above stations to collect their bags.
One of the passengers came to the Station Master’s office of Belgachia Metro station where the recovered bag containing a laptop was handed over to him after proper verification and observing all formalities.
Similarly, another passenger also approached the Station Master of Shobhabazar -Sutanuti and claimed the ownership of the bag containing valuable items like Samsung Mobile set, earpod box. After proper verification and observing all formalities, that bag was also handed over to him.
Two passengers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Metro RPF and officials for extending their co-operation for recovery of their bags.
