METRO RPF RECOVERS A BAG CONTAINING CASH AND OTHER VALUABLES AND RETURNS TO ITS OWNER
On 22.12.2020, an on-duty RPF staff of Mahatma Gandhi Road station recovered an unclaimed bag from a Metro. The on-duty RPF staff immediately brought the bag to the Station Master’s Office where after opening the bag Rs. 50,000/- cash, medicines,a key bunch and an identity card were found therein.
It was immediately reported to the Central Control and all stations were alerted about this recovery. one person reported to Chandni Chowk Station Master that he had lost a bag in train. He was advised to contact the Station Master’s Office at Mahatma Gandhi Road station. He then reported to Station Master’s Office of Mahatma Gandhi Road station to claim the ownership of the bag.
After proper verification and observing all official formalities, the bag was handed over to him and he appreciated the work of Metro staff to help him get back his lost bag.
