INDIAN RAILWAYS TO FILL UP THE BULK VACANCIES THROUGH RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARDS


Here is a good news for job seekers   in Indian Railways !


Dr. Anand Singh Khati, Director General (HR) in charge of recruitment in Railways has announced through a virtual press briefing o­n 11.12.2020 that Indian Railways is going to fill up 1.4 lakh vacancies of posts of Stenographers, Teachers, Translators, Station Masters, Guards, Office Clerks, Commercial Clerks, Track Maintainers, Pointsman and various Level-I employees through Railway Recruitment Boards. Total 2.44 crores candidates have applied for these posts For this , three following employment notifications have been issued:


·CEN 01/2019(NTPC categories)

·CEN  03/2019 (Isolated and Ministerial categories)

·RRC -01/2019( Level-1 categories)


Railway Recruitment Boards  (RRB) are  going to conduct Computer Based Test for the candidates applied against the Notification   No. CEN 03/2019 (Isolated and Ministerial categories) from 15th to 18th December, 2020. RRBs will conduct the first stage Computer Based Test for the candidates applied  against the Notification No. CEN 01/2019 from 28th December, 2020 to mid March, 2021.  The Computer Based Test for the candidates applied against the Notification No. RRC-01/2019 (Level -1 category) will be conducted tentatively from April, 2021.  Candidates who have applied for the posts  of Isolated and Ministerial Categories against notification No:  CEN 03/2019 can download their e-call letters from RRB website from 16.00 hrs today.


In West Bengal, 7747 candidates have applied for different posts of Isolated and Ministerial categories (Notification No: CEN 03/2019).  For different posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (Notification No. CEN 01/2019) total 6,23,473 candidates have applied from West Bengal.


These tests will be held all over India at different examination centres  and efforts are being made by RRBs to ensure that candidates are accommodated in their own states so that they can reach their examination centres by undertaking overnight journey.


All the processes of RRB exams are computer based and fully transparent and candidate -friendly.


All these tests will be conducted maintaining all COVID-19 protocols.
