GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS PREPARATIONS INSIDE METRO STATIONS FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE DAY

 Shri Manoj Joshi, General Manager, Metro Railway inspected all the stations between Park Street and Kavi Subhash o­n 09.09.2020 prior to the resumption of Metro services .  He inspected the entry and exit gates of all the stations in this stretch.  He inspected the markings inside the Metro premises which will help Metro commuters maintain social distancing.  He also checked the sanitizer dispensing machines at all  the stations and escalators as well as lifts where they have been kept.

He inspected the markings inside the coaches which will help Metro commuters maintain social distancing inside the coaches.  Senior officers of Metro Railway accompanied him during this inspection.

Shri Joshi interacted with the station  staff during this inspection and also instructed all concerned to ensure social distancing and observe all COVID-19 protocols inside the station premises.

It is to be noted that Shri Joshi inspected all the stations from Park Street to Noapara yesterday.  Metro authorities are taking all possible steps to provide commuters a Covid-free journey.
