With a view to keep medical staff fully prepared to tackle any emergency, if arises, due to the outbreak of COVID -19 , a training session was organised at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital, Metro Railway on 13.04.2020.
This training programme was conducted to train the medical staff of Metro Railway on Donning and Doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). During this session, para medical staff were trained on how to use PPE and dispose them properly.
All the Medical staff and doctors of Metro Railway participated in this session.
It is to be noted that Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital is ready to handle COVID-19 patients, if required and a 75-bed isolation ward has already been opened for such patients.
5 doctors, 17 nurses and other paramedic staff have been posted in this ward to treat such patients.
So far no COVID-19 patient has been admitted here.
