METRO DOCTORS CONDUCT CORONA AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AMONG COMMUTERS
In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, Metro Railway has taken several initiatives in order to make staff as well as commuters aware about this deadly virus. As part of such initiative, commuters were made aware about Coronavirus infection by medical officers of Metro Railway on 14.03.2020(Saturday).
Metro doctors interacted with commuters on that day at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, Rabindra Sarobar and Kalighat Stations and explained how this virus is spread from an infected person to a healthy person. Commuters were also counseled about what needs to be done to prevent this.
It is to be noted that at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital, a fever clinic and an Isolation Ward have been opened to tackle any Coronavirus related emergency.

Posters and banners are also on display at different stations of Metro Railway to educate commuters about Coronavirus infection. Special videos and announcements are also being played at all metro stations to educate people about dos and don’ts to stop spreading of Coronavirus.
Special drives are also being undertaken to regularly disinfect Metro coaches at Noapara Carshed.
