METRO RAILWAY CONDUCTS CORONAVIRUS AWARENESS CAMPS
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Metro Railway has taken several steps to make its staff as well as commuters aware about this deadly virus. As part of such initiative, a door to door awareness campaign on coronavirus infection was conducted at Tollygunge Staff Colony A-Block on 11.03.2020. Medical officers of Metro Railway interacted with staff and their family members and also counseled them about what needs to be done to prevent spreading of this infection.
Earlier, staff of Noapara carshed as well as Netaji, Kavi Nazrul and Masterda Surya Sen stations have also been counseled about this deadly disease. During such awareness campaigns Metro staff are advised to remain alert.
It is to be noted that at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital, a Fever Clinic and an Isolation Ward have been opened to tackle any emergency. one doctor and other medical staff have also been posted there. Control Numbers are-

Posters and banners are also on display at different stations of Metro Railway to educate commuters about coronavirus infection. Special videos and announcements are also being played at all Metro stations to educate people about dos and don’ts in order to battle against this infection.
