METRO STAFF EXTEND HELPING HAND TO THE AILING COMMUTERS
On 27.02.2020 at about 11.06 hrs., a male commuter aged about 44 years was feeling unwell in a DN metro and it was informed to the RPF through Security Helpline Number and the same information was sent to the Station Master of Mahatma Gandhi Road station. When the train arrived at Mahatma Gandhi Road Station, the station staff and RPF personnel immediately attended to that commuter. on seeing his condition, the commuter was sent to Medical College and Hospital immediately accompanied by station staff and Metro Rail Police for proper treatment. The family members of the ailing commuter were also informed about the incident over phone.
On 27.02.2020 around 15.30 hrs., a lady commuter aged about 28 years was feeling unwell at DN platform of Netaji Station. The on-duty RPF staff immediately attended to her and she was brought to the Station Master’s office in a wheelchair. Thereafter, she was sent to M.R. Bangur Hospital for treatment in a taxi accompanied by a station staff and her husband who was travelling with her.
