METRO RAILWAY ORGANISES A VENDOR MEET
ON EASE OF DOING TRANSPARENT BUSINESS
The Stores Department of Metro Railway organised a Vendor Meet on Ease of Doing Business with Railways at Metro Rail Bhavan on 04.02.2020. Shri Manoj Joshi, General Manager inaugurated this Meet by lighting a lamp.
In his inaugural speech Shri Joshi emphasized on developing Vendors for ensuring procurement of quality materials at most economical rates. He informed the Vendors that “Ease of Doing Business” is one the thrust areas of Government of India and expressed his hope that this Meet would pave the way for enhancing “Ease of Doing Business” with Metro Railway.
Shri A.K.Dubey, Principal Chief Materials Manager welcoming all the guests and vendors said that the entire process of procurement in Metro Railway has been made paperless through e-procurement process for making it more transparent.
During this Meet, deliberations were made on payment through Letter of Credit. Senior officers of Metro Railway and State Bank of India were present in this Meet which was attended by 50 vendors.
