SPECIAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED BY KOLKATA METRO

Kolkata, 31st March,2024

In order to make commuters aware about different Metro rules and ensure passengers'safety in the Metro premises, Metro Railway authorities often undertake innovative media campaigns. In o­ne such recent campaign, Kolkata  Metro has created a MEME to educate commuters not to cross the Yellow Line o­n the platform edges when there is no train in the platform.

In this MEME, already posted in different official Social Media handles of Kolkata Metro, commuters have been requested not to cross the Yellow Line unnecessarily with a catchy tagline, 'Bujhe Khelun, Surakhhita Thakun' (Be Alert, Stay Safe).

Instantly this MEME has got the attention and praise of the netizens. In this MEME, alert Virat Kohli is seen not crossing the safety of the crease at the non-striker's end while Sunil Narine suddenly stops while bowling his delivery in an attempt to Mankading him.Virat's alertness helps him to save his precious wicket.

Such innovative campaigns undertaken by Kolkata Metro have made commuters aware about Dos and Don'ts in Metro premises. It is expected that this latest campaign too will be helpful to make all further aware.
