METRO RAILWAY OBSERVED 149th BIRTHDAY OF DHARTI ABA BHAGWAN BIRSA MUNDA

The 149th birthday of freedom fighter Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, was observed in Metro Railway, today i.e. on 16th November, 2023. A special programme was organized to mark the occasion at Metro Rail Bhavan, which was inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Biswas, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer(PCME) and Shri Soumitra Biswas, Principal Chief Operations Manager(PCOM), by lighting a traditional lamp. They garlanded the portrait of this freedom fighter.
Apart from PCME and PCOM, other officers, staff and members of All India Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribes Railway Employee's Association ( Zonal Executive Committee) were also present in this programme.
A cultural programme including songs and recitations over the life and struggle of this iconic freedom fighter were also presented at this programme.
