LOST BAG RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 14.11.2023 at about 14:30 hrs, an on-duty RPF staff during a routine check found a bag at the platform of Karunamoyee Metro station. Finding no claimant of this bag and after proper security checking,he deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
At about 14:50 hrs , a male commuter came to the Station Master's Office and claimed the ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the bag was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost bag.
