 Kolkata, Date:27.10.2023

On 26.10.2023 at about 16.10 hrs., on-duty RPF and station staff of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station during a routine check found a passenger seating on a chair in the UP platform in distracted condition. on being asked, he failed to give his details and started to behave like an insane person. So, he was brought to the Station Master's office of  Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station where he could only show his Aadhar Card and provide parent’s phone number to Metro staff during interrogation.

His parents were immediately contacted over phone by on-duty staff and at about 18.45 hrs, his parents arrived at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station. They informed that their son, a mental patient, had left home on 21.10.2023. They had also filed a missing diary at local police station. Then Station Master contacted Regent Park Police station for further legal action.

Parents of the youth thanked Metro Railway Authorities for extending helping hand to get their son back.
