NORTH-SOUTH METRO CARRIED 6.26 LAKH PASSENGERS on MAHANABAMI

North-South Corridor of Kolkata Metro has ferried 6.26 lakh passengers on Mahanabami, i.e. on 23.10.2023 !
On 23.10.2023 (Mahanabami), North-South Metro has carried 6,26,929 passengers.Total 251 services were run night-long on that day to cater to the Metro users.
On 23.10.2023, maximum passenger count i.e. 62809 was recorded at Kalighat. Dumdum recorded 60691 passenger count. Shovabazar-Sutanuti recorded 49379 and Dakshineswar recorded 32378 passenger count respectively.
It is to be noted that like Mahasaptami and Mahastami,for the convenience of the pandal hoppers, Metro Railway arranged to run night-long services in North-South Corridor on Mahanabami too. In East-West Corridor services were available till midnight. All ticket counters were opened at the stations for the convenience of the passengers.
