TICKET-CHECKING AT DIFFERENT METRO STATIONS OF BLUE LINE

Metro Railway has been constantly upgrading its amenities in order to provide better services to its commuters. At the same time in order to check token loss as per the instruction of Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Ticket Checking drives have been taken up at different stations.
Special Ticket-Checking teams have been formed to stop token loss and penalise the perpetrators as per the rule. These teams are also penalising passengers if anyone is travelling without improper tickets. During these intense checking drives, 80 nos. of nuisance cases were registered and Rs 20,000 have been realised as penalties.26 Short Journey cases have also been registered and Rs 6,645 have been realised from 20th September,2023 till 03rd October,2023.
Metro Railway authorities request all to ride Metro with proper tickets at all time and deposit tokens at AFC-PC gates after completion of the journey.
