COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY OBSERVED IN METRO RAILWAY
Kolkata, Date: 02.10.2023
As a part of observing Swachhta Pakhwada and birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Community Service Day was observed at Mahatma Gandhi Road Metro station today i.e. on 02.10.2023. Shri V K Gupta, Chief Electrical Engineer/Project, other senior officials and staff offered Shramdan at the station to mark the day. They requested all Metro users to help to keep the Metro premises clean. They also explained the importance of cleanliness to the Metro users.
A dance was performed by kids depicting the life and struggle of Mahatma Gandhi Ji.
Banners and posters were on display to spread the message of Swacchta at all Metro stations.
