Another Passenger-friendly initiative by Kolkata Metro has been introduced from today. The digital display screens inside the Medha rake of North-South Metro, which used to show station names and route map only, now have started showing infotainment materials like cartoon shows from today.
It would help Metro commuters to get rid off the monotony of travelling and enjoy the Metro journey. on the very first day commuters have thoroughly enjoyed the show and were all in praise for Metro Railway authorities. Parents of students who travel regularly in North-South Metro have profusely praised this initiative and rang up Metro officials to convey their thanks. Such innovative initiative, first of its kind in Metro, would make the journey of the kids entertaining as they would get opportunity among their packed schedule to spend some time with Tom & Jerry on the way back homes from schools. It would also help the adults to soothe their frayed nerves.
