CHECKING OF FOOD STALL DONE AT METRO STATION AS PART OF SWACHHATA PAKHWADA

Metro Railway has been observing ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ from 16th September to 2nd October 2023. During this Pakhwada, intensive cleaning and sanitization drives at stations, trains, colonies, hospital and other railway establishments are being carried out.
In order to ensure ‘Swachh Aahar and Swachh Neer’ for Metro commuters, intensive checking of food stalls at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station was conducted today by the Metro officials. During this drive the cleanliness standard of this food stalls, manufacturing date of all food items, cleaning of utensils, source of water, disposal method of garbage were checked minutely. All the requisite documents to run this food stalls were also verified. Stall owners were advised to maintain hygienic condition of the food items as well as the food stalls for the benefit of the Metro commuters. They were also advised to keep dry and wet garbage and dispose them off properly.
