LOST BAG RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 03.09.2023 at about 10:45 hrs Esplanade Metro station, an on-duty lady RPF staff during a routine check found a bag at the platform. Finding no claimant of this bag and after proper security checking, she deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometimes i.e. at 11:15 hrs, a lady commuter came to the Station Master's Office and claimed the ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the bag was handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping her to recover the lost bag.
