Metro Helpline has helped a person to get back his lost niece.

On 07.09.2022 at about 19:20 hrs, Metro Security Control through Helpline Number 9007041789 received a call from a male passenger, who was travelling in a Metro towards Netaji station that his niece had deboarded at Rabindra Sarobar Metro station. Immediately after receiving this information, Security Control alerted the RPF post at Kalighat. RPF personnel of this post immediately swung into action and searched Rabindra Sarobar Metro station premises.

After a hectic search at this station, they found a child aged around 14 years roaming around aimlessly on the platform. They approached the child and enquired about her identity. After getting no satisfactory answer from her, they brought her to the Station Master’s Office. Her uncle was immediately contacted.

At around 19:40 hrs, a male passenger came to the Station Master’s Office and identified the recused girl as his niece.  Later, she was handed over to his uncle in presence of Police personnel after observing all official formalities.

He thanked Metro Railway authorities for the timely help and co-operation to get back his lost niece. RPF personnel and other Metro staff always remain vigilant and work relentlessly to ensure safety and security of Metro commuters on 24X7 basis in the Metro premises.
