GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS MAHANAYAK UTTAM KUMAR, NETAJI STATIONS AND TAPAN SINHA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Kolkata, Date: 05.09.2023

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inspected Mahanayak Uttam Kumar and Netaji stations as well as Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital today i.e. o­n 05.09.2023.

         Shri Reddy inspected platform area, concourse area, AFC-PC Gates, Cleanliness and other passenger amenities at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar and Netaji stations. He also interacted with the station staff. General Manager also visited Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital for inspection.  He inspected Out Patient Department Block, Special Clinic, Physiotherapy Unit, Pathology Unit, Pharmacy, Stores etc. During the inspection General Manager interacted with the patients, medical officers and staff of Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital and enquired about the working of the hospital and the number of patients being treated there daily.

General Manager advised all to work in tandem for further betterment of all the medical facilities in this hospital.  This will in turn ensure better treatment and better utilisation of services for all railway beneficiaries, he said.

Senior officers of Metro Railway accompanied him during this inspection.
