GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS DAKSHINESWAR METRO STATION

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inspected Dakshineswar Metro station today, i. e. on 30.08.2023. He inspected entry/exit points, platforms, Concourse Level, Station Signages, cleanliness etc. of Dakshineswar Metro station as well as the skywalk. He also interacted with the station staff and commuters. He travelled to Dakshineswar in a Metro from Park Street station this evening.
After completing the inspection at Dakshineswar station, Shri Reddy reached Baranagar station. He inspected the approach road from B.T.Road to Baranagar station and the passenger inter changing point with Eastern Railway. He was also apprised about the present status of the proposed Baranagar-Barrackpore Metro Corridor (Pink Line - 12.5 Km).
General Manager expressed his satisfaction seeing the overall arrangements and cleanliness of Dakshineswar and Baranagar stations.
Senior officers of Metro Railway accompanied him during this inspection.
