METRO’S LADY TABLE-TENNIS PLAYER WINS SILVER MEDAL IN THE ALL INDIA INTER INSTITUTIONAL TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

Metro Railway’s Woman Table Tennis player has won the silver medal in the 50th All India Inter Institutional Table Tennis Championship, 2023 held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh from 16th to 22nd August 2023.
Ms. Moumita Dutta, representing Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) has secured the 2nd position in the individual category as she lost the final to Sreeja Akula of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Ms. Moumita Dutta is a staff of Metro Railway.
On the way to final, Ms Dutta defeated ex-national Champion Archana Girish Kamath of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) by 4-1 in the semi-final and in the quarter-final she defeated Manica Batra of PSPB by 3-0 margin.
Players from different states and Sports Promotion Boards participated in this Championship.A total of 160 lady players participated in this event.
