VISHISHT RAIL SEVA PURASKAR (VRSP)-2023 IN METRO RAILWAY
Kolkata, August 23, 2023:
Vishist Rail Seva Puraskar (VRSP) giving ceremony was organised today i.e. on 23.08.2023 in Metro Rail Bhavan. Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp.
He honoured the selected group of sincere and dedicated staff and officers who have rendered their meritorious services to Metro Railway in different spheres. General Manager, Metro Railway handed over coveted Overall Efficiency Shield to five teams in the best office keeping and maintenance category. Dakshineswar Metro station won the best maintained Metro Railway station award.
Apart from this, 6 staff have been awarded with Vishist Rail Seva Puraskar and another 18 staff of different departments have been selected as Star Performers for their outstanding performance.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Reddy, congratulated all the award winners and said that Metro Railway has rendered yeomen services in all fields. This ceremony would motivate all to work harder in the coming days in order to provide more improved services to all stakeholders, he added.
In this context, it requires to mention that all officers and awardees were shown the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon’s surface live after this programme.
