METRO RAILWAY OBSERVES “SADBHAVANA DIWAS”
Kolkata,18th August,2023 :
Metro Railway observed “SADBHAVANA DIWAS” today i.e. on 18.08.2023 in order to promote Emotional oneness, National Integration and Communal Harmony among people of all religions, languages and regions.
Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway administered the ‘Sadbhavana Diwas Pledge’ to officers and staff of Metro Railway at Metro Rail Bhavan to promote goodwill among people and to resolve all differences through dialogues and constitutional means without resorting to violence. All Principal Heads of Departments, Senior Officers and staff took this pledge today.
It is to be noted that every year Sadbhavana Diwas is observed on 20th August. But this year, 20th August is Sunday, a holiday. So as per the directives of the Railway Board, Sadbhavana Diwas has been observed today in Metro Railway.
