NO EAST-WEST (GREEN LINE) METRO SERVICES on 19.08.23 (SATURDAY) AND 26.08.23 (SATURDAY)

In order to conduct Integrated Safety Test between already commissioned Salt Lake Sector V- Sealdah stretch and under construction Esplanade to Howrah Maidan stretch of East-West Metro (Green Line), it has been decided to suspend Green Line Metro services from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V on 19.08.2023 (Saturday) and 26.08.2023 (Saturday).No services will be available on this Corridor on these two consecutive Saturdays.
This exhaustive Integrated Safety Test is essential to interface and integrate both software and hardware of the system in the upcoming stretch from Howrah Maidan to Esplanade with the presently operational stretch of this Corridor from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V.
Shri Kausik Mitra, Chief Public Relations Officer, Metro Railway, has requested all stakeholders to co-operate with Metro Railway authorities for smooth execution of this test.
