SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS BEEFED UP IN METRO RAILWAY on THE EVE OF 77TH INDEPENDENCE DAY
On the eve of 77th Independence Day, security arrangements have been beefed up in Metro Railway to ensure safety and security of Metro users. Intensive security and anti sabotage checkings are being conducted by RPF, CIB team and Dog Squad at different stations of Metro Railway. Quick Response Teams (QRT) have been moving from one station to another to tackle any emergency, if required. Intensive CCTV monitoring has been going on during the commercial hours. RPF personnel in plain clothes have been deployed at stations to keep a watch on suspicious persons, if any. Random checking of passengers have been going on and more lady RPF staff have been deployed to check lady passengers. Few mock drills have already been conducted to check preparedness and alertness of RPF personnel.
