METRO STAFF HELP AN INDISPOSED SENIOR CITIZEN

On-duty Metro staff have once again helped an indisposed senior citizen in the Metro premises at the right time. on 03.08.2023 at about 10:32 hrs., a lady commuter aged about 82 years was travelling from Dum Dum to Rabindra Sadan for treatment at SSKM Hospital. After getting down at Rabindra Sadan Metro station, she suddenly started to feel unwell in the station premises. Her son, who was accompanying her, sought help from the station staff and RPF.
Alert station staff and RPF personnel immediately responded and rushed to her help. Considering the seriousness of the situation, she was brought to the Station Master’s office in a stretcher and administered first-aid. She was later sent to SSKM Hospital along with her son for further treatment.
Her son expressed heartfelt gratitude for the kind and timely help rendered by station staff of Traffic and RPF Departments of Metro Railway.
