RECOVERED BOX RETURNED TO THE METRO COMMUTER

On 08.07.2023 at about 09:30 hrs., an on-duty lady RPF staff posted at Dakshineswar Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed sealed box from a Metro and deposited it to the Station Master's Office after proper security checking. Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the box to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometime, at about 10:40 hrs., a commuter came to the Station Master’s Office of Dakshineswar Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered sealed box. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the sealed box was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping him to get back the lost box.
