FREE DIABETES AWARENESS AND SCREENING CAMPS FOR METRO COMMUTERS AT METRO STATIONS
Kolkata, 7th July, 2023 :
Metro Railway in association with Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan Pvt. Ltd. has been organizing Free Diabetes Check-up Camps at different Metro stations. These camps have already been organized at Masterda Surya Sen, Kalighat, Jatin Das Park, Rabindra Sadan, Girish Park, Belgachia and Sealdah stations. Metro commuters are getting opportunities to Check-Up their Blood Sugar level in these Camps. A large number of Metro commuters responded by availing the opportunity and checked their blood sugar level free of cost in these camps.
Doctors are also attending these Camps in order to provide free consultations to the commuters if they are found Diabetic. They are also making people aware about this silent killer. Such Camps will be organized at other stations during commercial hours in the coming days.
It is to be noted that Metro Railway regularly organizes such Camps in its premises in order to enable the commuters to check their different health parameters on the go. Metro commuters have also appreciated such innovative initiatives and responded overwhelmingly.
