LOST MOBILE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER
Kolkata, Date: 10.06.2023
On 08.06.2023 at about 09:30 hrs., an on-duty RPF staff at Mahatma Gandhi Road station found a mobile phone on the sitting chair of the platform. Finding no claimant of this phone and after proper security checking, he deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
After sometime, a person made a call at that number and stated that the mobile phone belonged to him. The Station Master advised him to come to the station with proper documents.
After sometime a commuter came to the Station Master's Office and claimed the ownership of the phone. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the phone was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover his lost phone.
