SAPLINGS DISTRIBUTED AMONG METRO COMMUTERS on WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Metro Railway has observed World Environment Day in a befitting manner today on 05.06.2023. In order to make people aware about making the environment pollution-free and green, saplings were distributed among the commuters at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, Park Street, Esplanade, Chandni Chowk and Dum Dum stations of North-South Metro today. At Park Street station 100 saplings were distributed among the commuters.
At Chandni Chowk, Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, Esplanade and Dum Dum Metro stations also such saplings distribution programmes were organised. At each station, 200 saplings were distributed among the commuters. Commuters have been requested to plant at least one sapling for making the world pollution-free.
Metro commuters also thanked Metro authorities for organising such saplings distribution programmes at different stations to make the planet a better place to live on World Environment Day.
