LOST LAPTOP RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO COMMUTER

Metro RPF has done it o­nce again!


RPF personnel remain vigilant at Metro premises and help commuters at the time of any emergency. o­n 31.05.2023 at about 19:44 hrs a commuter informed Station Master of Kavi Nazrul that he had left behind a bag in the DN Metro at the time of getting down at Kavi Nazrul station. Station Master of Kavi Nazrul immediately alerted Station Master of Kavi Subhash about this. That Metro was entering Kavi Subhash station at that time. Accordingly, o­n-duty lady RPF Constable Smt. Arti Ghosh checked the rake at Kavi Subhash station and found the bag. She deposited it to the Station Master’s Office after careful checking. After opening the bag, a Laptop with accessories and other items worth Rs. 50, 500/- were found therein. 


After the recovery, Station Master of Kavi Subhash immediately informed Station Master of Kavi Nazrul about this recovery and this message was also conveyed to the passenger. The commuter came to Kavi Subhash station and claimed the ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered bag was handed over to him.

 

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost Laptop. Shri Saurabh Trivedi, IG cum PCSC, Metro Railway has congratulated Smt. Arti Ghosh, Lady Constable for her alertness and prompt action.

 

Metro commuters have full confidence o­n Metro authorities to get back their lost or misplaced goods in Metro. Metro authorities take utmost care to return such lost goods or valuables to the owners in good condition.
