METRO RAILWAY OBSERVES 132ND BIRTHANNIVERSARY OF DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR

The 132nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was observed in a solemn manner at Metro Rail Bhavan today i.e. on 14th April, 2023 with the rest of the country.
Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager,Metro Railway, Kolkata paid homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the great scholar and the Architect of the Constitution of India by garlanding his photograph this morning. He advised all to take pledge on this auspicious day to work together for establishing a 'Vikshit Bharat'. Other senior officers and staff also paid floral tributes to this great son of the country and vowed to protect equal rights for all.
Representatives of All India Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes Railway Employees Association, recognised unions and other staff also paid floral tributes to Babasahab to mark the occasion.
It is to be noted that every year Metromen observe Ambedkar Jayanti with reverence to pay their tributes to this great social reformer.
