LOST BAG RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO COMMUTER

On 14.03.2023 at about 12:37 hrs at Dum Dum Station, an on-duty lady RPF staff during a routine check found a bag near the sitting chair of the platform. Finding no claimant of this bag, she deposited it to the Station Master’s Office after careful checking.
Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations. After opening the bag, some valuable items were found therein.
After sometimes., a commuter came to the Station Master’s office and claimed the ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered bag was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost bag.
Metro commuters have full confidence on Metro authorities to get back their lost or misplaced goods in Metro. Metro authorities take utmost care to return such lost goods or valuables to the owners in good condition.
