LOST MOBILE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 20.02.2023 at about 15.30 hrs., an on-duty lady RPF staff at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station found a mobile phone near the luggage scanner machine of the station. Finding no claimant of this phone and after proper security checking, she deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the phone to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometimes, at about 18.30 hrs., a commuter came to the Station Master's Office and claimed the ownership of the phone. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the phone was handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authority for helping him to recover her lost phone.
