EAST-WEST METRO REGISTERS 55000 FOOTFALLS

East-West Metro has achieved another milestone! After registering 50,000 daily footfalls a few days back, now daily footfalls in Green Line (East -West Metro) have crossed 55,000 marks. Green Line has carried 55,489 passengers yesterday i.e. on 07.02.2023. This is the highest ever daily passenger count of East-West Metro. Total 120 services were run on that day to cater to the Metro users.
Maximum footfalls 20852 were recorded at Sealdah Metro station. Karunamoyee recorded 10967 footfalls and passenger count recorded at Salt Lake Sector-V was 9910 yesterday.
For the convenience of the book lovers willing to visit 46th International Kolkata Book Fair, at Boimela Prangan, Salt Lake, additional Metro services are being run on this Corridor from 30th January to 12th February, 2023. Services are also being run on Sundays during the Book Fair from 12.50 hrs to 22.00 hrs.
