METRO RAILWAY OBSERVES 74TH REPUBLIC DAY
Kolkata, 26thJanuary, 2023:-
Today, on 26th January, 2023, Metro Railway, Kolkata has observed the 74th Republic Day with enthusiasm and fervour. Shri H.N. Jaiswal, Additional General Manager, Metro Railway unfurled the National Flag at Metro Rail Bhavan this morning and took the Guard of Honour from the Metro RPF.
In his address to the officers & staff of Metro Railway and Media persons, he spoke about the spectacular achievements of Metro Railway in various spheres in recent time, its glorious past and phenomenal growth in passenger traffic by improving asset utilisation and efficiency in operations as well as opening new Metro routes.
Shri Jaiswal also stressed upon ensuring more safety, security, punctuality and augmenting amenities for the passengers and also urged upon the Metro officers and staff to come forward for providing improved services to the commuters.
