Her family members were also contacted over the phone number she gave to the station staff. A control message was communicated to all the stations and on-duty RPF and Quick Response Team (QRT) posted at Kalighat Metro Station immediately swung into action and found the mobile in the train after hectic search. Later it was handed over to Station Superintendant of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station by QRT Team and thereafter to the passenger.
At 09.50 hrs., one person came to the Station Master’s room and identified her as her sister and intended to take her sister home. After complying with all official formalities, the passenger was allowed to go home with her brother.
